As part of this elective we each we given anonymous gifts. I was given a brown parcel box, green inside with a game of listed instructions of possibilities I could do with the gift.cut holes, brunt edges and repaired with masking tape, the box was presented to me decorative and elegant through being destructive it contradicts its original purpose.
through taking away and adding new elements such as the string
and masking tape and burning the surface the box can no longer
conceal a present, but can be given as a present as it is,
which is a piece of art.
